Artarazzi #16

Vron at Artarazzi has given us an image by Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones. It made me think of haunted manors and spirits dancing on moonlight nights. I've used the wonderful photo of a deserted manor house by Martin Beek for the background here, and submitted the "ladies" to various filters. Thanks, Vron! The quote is from J. M. Barrie, and, in full, it is:
"A house is never still in darkness to those who listen intently; there is a whispering in distant chambers, an unearthly hand presses the snib of the window, the latch rises. Ghosts were created when the first man awoke in the night."

  1. Oh wow, this reminds me of the Robert Burns poem 'Tam o'Shanter' when the ghosties played around in the old kirk. Great take on the challenge. I'll be doing mine tonight.
