Art Creations - Purple

Purple is one of my favorite colors, so this was fun to work with. I duplicated the background and flipped one half, so as to have the stripes at top and bottom, used a Flickr collage image and made it opaque so the purple would show through. I was trying to achieve an evening in the garden effect. Thanks, good ladies of Art Creations, for giving us yet another beautiful background!

  4. Bev, the opacity of the image gives it a really elegant look. The stripes at top and bottom does balance out the design. This is so gorgeous. The beautiful image goes so perfectly with the background.

Thanks for telling me about the sketch. I hadn't thought of that. Duh!!! You are so clever.
