Sunday Postcard - Magic

Ah, Magic. Crystal balls, sorcerers, tarot cards, tea leaves, illusions and mysteries! With the help of Flickr Collage Images I've tried to capture the excitement of magic. The background is by Skeletal Mess. Once again (will I EVER learn?), I created this as a square and had to resize it to postcard size, which turned the crystal ball into an egg shape! Sorry about that! Thank you for your comments!

  1. You have, indeed, captured the illusive feeling of magic with this mystical, magical card, Bev! Frankly, I thought the spherical crystal ball was done on purpose!!! Fabulous! Hugs, Terri xoxo

  2. Bev, you have captured just the right atmosphere of magic, and your magician has the kind of eyes to hypnotize ... I dare not look! Very clever blending and a love the golden monochrome. Kudos to you.

  6. This is Magic, obviously why the crystal "ball" turned oval, Bev...isn't that what magic is about? Your artwork is always so excellent...this is no exception. Gorgeous!

  10. I'm with Terri! I thought the shape of the crystal ball was part of your quirkery! It looks great and the whole effect of your collage is mysterious and a wee bit creepy! Do I see a couple getting married in the ball? I am screaming "Nooooooooo, don't do it!"
    Great work. Bev.

  20. i think that your final need to resize was just some more magic~!~ doing that caused a wonderful warped effect that definately adds to the mystery of the piece.
