Art Creations 91

When I saw this image, I thought immediately of a painting, age indeterminate, I bought at a street fair about 25 years ago of a woman at a well. So I took the painting from the wall, photographed it, scanned it onto computer, and placed the girl in the painting with digital magic. I could not get the colors of the painting as true as I would like, but I am somewhat pleased with the overall effect. It could have happened just this way .......

I had a nice Wiki with appropriate picture found (from a Dutch painter) but when I wanted to go on, I got rid of my inspiration.
Therefor was my entry, my seccond attempt.

  17. Bev, your choice for a background for the waterbearer is inspired. The lovely girl fits in so well with your painting. Who would have thought, when you bought it, that in the year 2010 it would feature in another artwork. Great stuff.
