Sunday Postcard - Steampunk

Forgive me.  I have been icebound since Monday, we've had 5 inches of snow so far this morning, and I'm a bit stir crazy, which accounts for the silliness here.   This is mostly made from components from Maya at Scrapbookgraphics.  Mama's face is from Tumblefish Studios.   Background is made up of a couple of googled images.    Bear with me.  Spring is coming!  (If you think Daddy's balloon looks suspiciously like Marie's steampunk lady's dress, you could be absolutely correct!!)

  1. I think you've captured the feel of the Steampunk subculture beautifully, Bev. I just bought a book on making Steampunk jewelry, and see many of their icons in your art piece.

Hope your snow stops and is gone very soon!

  7. At least you used the hot air balloon in its true context!! If this is silliness, I say bring on some more! Quirky and whimsical too. I love how your mind works, Bev. The steampunk baby just cracks me up and the lady in her amazing fur coat and wheels for legs is a true original.
    Seriously great artwork.
