Three Muses - Stairs

I have always been fascinated by deserted houses, abandoned barns, and remnants of the past.  I wonder what stories they'd have to tell,  and how they came to be in their present state.   Sometimes they inspire me to write poetry, as was the case with this abandoned stairway to.... what do you suppose?  Thanks for indulging me!

  3. Bev, you are too modest. Unless everyone reads the blurb below your beautiful piece, they will probably not be able to see that the author of this touching poem is YOU. You really do have an artist's eye which allows you to see beauty in so many things and it is a wonderful gift to be able to express this gift, not only in art but in poetry as well.

(My head is in another place today and I originally posted this on the Muses page).
