My heart flutters

These wonderful ladies are from vintage book or magazine covers, @ 1925 - 1930. Alpha elements are credit to Maya at Scrapbookgraphics, background googled. It was fun to do a sort of different vintage piece. Thanks for visiting!
I fell in love with this Portrait of Kazimierz by Stanislaw Wyspianicki . Doesn't he look like a Dapper Dude? I think Steinbeck wrote "Of Mice and Men" a bit after his time, but I'm sure he would have found it interesting. Thanks for indulging my fantasy!

It reminds me of home, harvest time, my mother's Fall displays of gourds and cornstalks, the smell of burning leaves, the sound of geese overhead making their way south, pumpkin pie, weiner roasts, haywagon rides, and later the many trips to the Smoky Mountains with my dear travel friends. It's my favorite time of year. How I wish it lasted until March!!

Spooky is the challenge at Sunday Postcard. Background here is credit to Digital Scrapbook Place, ghost has been in my stash for a while, and I'm not sure of the origin. I drag him out every Halloween! Thanks for visiting.
It's October, and time for spiders, spells, and things that go bump in the night. Credit for my Book of Spells to Digital Scrapbook Place (long, long ago), and the spiders were cybersurfed. Now I'm gone to look for Crushed root of Mandrake and dried skin of lizard ......
