Digital Whisper - Stockings

How well I remember garter belts and girdles, and stockings with seams.  Just putting them on and getting the seams straight was a major achievement.  I'm SO glad those days are gone for good!  Vintage ad was googled, with overlay by L. Bavin.  The larger image was extracted from a vintage ad.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Seams look beautiful on stockings but agree that good to get rid of them... Beautiful and elegant art piece, Bev.

  6. Bev you art pieces are so beautiful. This piece is fantastic. Looks all serial. How I remember
stockings like this and all the hullabaloo of getting them on and straightening the back seams so straight. . Thank goodness they are gone in fashion.

Every art piece you do is masterpieces. You were born an artist of an imagination.

  8. Thanks for the memories, Bev. Thanks also for the fabulous take on the challenge with the perfect background and those sizzling legs with the ever-so-straight seams. Those were the days. Garter belts were not always reliable. Sometimes the little button thingy would fall off and create a big problem. I can remember using the smallest coin in our currency at the time to take the place of the button.
