Three Muses - Autumn

This is a photo from a visit to this lovely old inn in Story, Indiana a couple of years ago with some long-time friends.  It's said to be haunted, but the spirit didn't join us for our lunch!  The walls inside are filled with items from yesterday, the tables and chairs are a collection of primitive furniture repurposed and dressed with vintage linens and candles.  Icy cold sweet tea is served in Mason jars, the food is wonderful, and the ambiance is superb.  The scarecrow is one of my sketches.   Autumn in Indiana is a wondrous spectacle!

  2. I bet the colors are glorious there! Our vineyards are what turn the glorious (Vermont-like) colors here in California. Love this bit of Autumn Bev!

  11. Well, I'm thinking your scarecrow must know something we don't because he's not looking very happy. Great take on the challenge, Bev.
