Methinks this lovely bird is a kingfisher, kin to the infamous kookaburra whose maniacal call you are not too fond of. This is a gorgeous piece of art. The colours are so impressive and the depth you have achieved is amazing. By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! February 13 is the auspicious day on Bev's calendar.
