Take a Word - Raven

This wonderful background by Finecrafted Designs seemed a perfect backdrop for the Graphic Fairy raven, and the quote, of course, from Edgar Allen Poe's "Lenore".   What fun!
(Afterthought --  Or was it "suddenly there came a tapping"?  Uh oh, too late to change it now!)

  3. You're right - it IS the perfect background to introduce the raven. Spine tingling and a beautiful artpiece, Bev. Love your bird. He's majestic.
Here in my part of the world ravens/crows are unpopular because of their noisy calls and scratching around on rooftops but I have always admired their beauty which very few seem to notice.

  17. Hi Bev, I just found your blog and I question myself as to why it took me so long,; we have many of the same followers. I love the look, feel and texture of mixed media and I'm amazed when I see how far artist take it. Your blog is very exciting and powerful, I have fallen head over heals with your work. I also notice that you are retired and from Indiana. I was Indiana born and raised, but now live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband of 36 years. I am a retired activity director, were I worked with assisted living residents. Looking forward to following your blog, Connie :)
If you have a minute please accept my warm invitation to visit and hopefully to follow me, as well. Have a great weekend. Connie :)
