I went with "long ago" on this one, and a vintage wedding photo from Art-E-Zine. Background and "sprig" by Miss Honey. I love to look at the old photos and wonder where and how their lives played out. Thank you for going back in time with me!
Gorgeous work, Bev. I love the old fashioned wedding outfits so much more than the modern "ballroom gowns" that pass for wedding dresses today. This is so pretty with the sprigs.
What a wonderful photo! Like you I love looking at old photos (and collecting them) My fantasy is to write stories behind those imagined lives, - ah well. Your different elements have been put together most beautifully.
Beautiful in it's simplicity Bev and as I look at your wedding party I can't help but imagine how their lives played out. So love how you have framed them too. Wonderful.
What a lovely collage, Bev! All the ingredients - the photo, the frame, the poppy seeds - make such a harmonius yet interesting whole. And you are so right about old photos: the people in them can be relatives or strangers, but in any case one starts to think about their life stories.
Bev, this is quite lovely.Simply elegant. I always wonder when I look at photos what were they thinking at the exact moment they were immortalized in time. I love the vintage photos with sepia tones. They have so much more character.
This is simply beautiful, Bev. I think it is a wonderful idea to find an old photo and imagine the story behind it. I love that frame!! Great work.
