Three Muses - Blue and White

Ann has chosen Blue and White, reminiscent of her trip to Greece.  Blue is my favorite color, so I blended several lovely bits of blue, and topped them with a charming blue specimen of the deep.  Thanks for indulging me!

Digital Whisper - Marie Antoinette

Perhaps a young and coquettish Marie?   Background Lorie Davison at SBG with renaissance floral overlay, filtered, Irene Alexeeva jewelry, googled body and Marie Antoinette image.  Thanks for your visit!

Take a Word - Black and White

The challenge is black and white .  My lady (who looks a bit evil, I think!) is from a vintage Vogue cover, the poppy credit to Christina Renee Designs, the graphic googled.  I can never resist putting a pop of red in a black and white piece.  Thanks for your visit!

Three Muses - Books

This week's theme is books.   My lovely background is courtesy of Astrid McLean, the open book credit to Irene Alexeeva, and the beautiful lady is credit to Graphics Fairy.   Thanks for stopping by!

Take a Word - The Sea

Marie chose Sea Life for her challenge this week.  Looking at the sea always makes me think of old sailing ships and ship captains who dared to set sail on vast waters in their insatiable zest to see the other side.   My background here is a composite of a couple of vintage paintings, some filters and some painting.  The old ship captain is from a vintage German painting by H. Haerendel.   I love to build new stories from old!   Thanks for your visit.

Digital Whisper - Hide & Seek

Another creative challenge from Patti - Hide and Seek.   Background here is a photo my granddaughter took of an old building in Bean Blossom, Indiana, on a recent visit.  The little girl has been in my stash for so long the source is lost in the pages of time, as is the face in the window.  I love the weathered red paint on this old building!

Three Muses - Street Art

A bit of street art that makes a girl hold tight to her big brother's hand!   They probably won't want to go to the show.   What do you think?   I've had this clown in my stash for so long I don't remember the source, and his arms were borrowed from some other clown.  I guess you could call him a composite clown!

Digital Whisper - Clothespins

This is made from a vintage glass printer's plate, which I purchased at a street sale many years ago.  The grandma reminded me so much of my paternal grandmother I simply had to have it!  I scanned it to get the image above.   There were no clothespins in sight, so I had to import some.  Forgive me.  Thanks for stopping by!

Take a Word - Wings

A beautiful stone angel, photographed by my granddaughter in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.  Isn't she lovely?    Even the Monarchs stop to visit!  This is rather simplistic, but somehow she seemed to need to be the focus.

Three Muses - Starry Night

This is a composite of several scenes over a Jofia Devoe starry sky with an overlay.   I think he must be getting ready to propose.  What do you think?

Digital Whisper - Summer

A little sunset exploration on the beach.  This reminds me of vacations long ago and the shell I collected which, unbeknownst to me, was home to a hermit crab.  It took me two days to realize why the shell didn't stay where I put it outside our motel door!    Thanks, Patti, for a challenge that jostled some happy memories!   The little girl is courtesy of the artist Jesse Wilcox Smith.

Take a Word - Window

Women, it seems, spend a great deal of their time waiting for men to come home.  This lass is just one of many.  She was a freebie from somewhere; the window is credit to Jenn U Designs, and the weathered siding was cybersurfed.    Thanks for your visit.

Three Muses - Beatles

I still love to listen to the Beatles music.  What an imprint they made!   I've had the musicians in my stash for years.   Credit to Crowabout Studios (I think!).
