Looks like a foggy October morning, and my Mr. Scarecrow sketch and the blackbird seem to be discussing it all.   The pumpkins provide a touch of orange!  

Take a Word - Umbrella

I'm always a bit nostalgic this time of year.  It reminds me of home, harvest time, my mother's Fall displays of gourds and cornstalks, the smell of burning leaves, the sound of geese overhead making their way south, pumpkin pie,  weiner roasts, haywagon rides,  and later the many trips to the Smoky Mountains with my dear travel friends.   It's my favorite time of year.  How I wish it lasted until March!!
