To Honor Their Memory

It's Memorial Day weekend in the U.S., and a time to remember those who have given so much, and those who are spending this day serving our country with honor and bravery. This montage is courtesy of Wayne State University.

I'm off for an old-fashioned family reunion picnic in Pontiac, Illinois (on the famous Route 66). Well, the picnic isn't on Route 66, but Pontiac is! See you all Tuesday with my feathers all fluffed after basking in family love!

  2. Hah! I am not the only one asking for pics!!
Bev, your tribute to those who have given so much is remarkable and very beautiful - and very sad. Memorial Days mean even more now with wars being waged on two fronts and so many men and women facing danger far from home.

  4. I have always wanted to go down Route 66, will there be pics? It would be so nice to see it.

Your tribute to those serving and fallen is very poignant Bev. So beautifully created.
