Sunday Postcard - Boat

In my search for something for this challenge, I came across this lovely Longfellow quote.  It seemed fitting.
My mother had a dreadful fear of water, which she passed along to me.  I've therefore spent little time in boats of any sort.  When I think that the hardy 102 souls who came over on the Mayflower, along with the  crew of 25-30, spent 66 days on the bounding seas in a boat that was 90-110 ft. x 25 ft. it makes me marvel at their courage.
Shell and starfish credit to Kubivet.   Thank you for visiting.

  9. What a beautiful card, Bev! So calm and serene. It would be a great "Bon Voyage!" I don't actually get on boats very much, and prefer solid ground beneath mt feet too!
