Take a Word - Insects

This was great fun.   I used a background from Land of Nod, the book pages are from Flickr Collage Images (Jerseybarb), the little insect person is from Kubivet, and the spider and book were in my stash.   (I have not invited the ants to visit me, however)!

  11. Ha ha, just the kind of little story to tell the grandchildren, Bev, so they will cuddle up close. You have achieved a very lovely vintage feel to this piece.

  14. Lovely fairytale pages, Bev. Miss Bug is adorable. I'm not in love with spiders, but I find them more interesting than the others (or less repellent...)

  16. What a fabulous piece, Bev! I'm rather glad, tho, you didn't invite those ants, they tend to overstay their welcome. But your art hits the mark perfectly!

  17. I would love to know the secret of ants. My kitchen is two storeys above ground level and yet I am continually invaded by the tiniest ants - so tiny they are almost invisible - and yet they can bite. And they can even get between the lid and glass of a jar. Yours ants in their exquisite background look more friendly! This is a beautiful piece, Bev. I love it - a lot. The little Kubivet insect cracks me up.
