The word this week is "Butterflies". My flowers and butterflies are courtesy of Dover images. The image is from a painting by John George Brown (and thanks to June for introducing me to this artist). Thank you for stopping by!
And thanks to you and June for the link to the artist. What a gorgeous image and you have done it proud. I love the rich colours and the grunginess of the background against the container of flowers. Wonderful artwork.
Bev, this is so rich and vibrant and beautifully lit AND of course, you have just the right words to accompany your image. I'm sending loud applause your way.
Isn't nature great Bev ? As a child it always fascinated me how such a tiny little caterpillar (I hope I translated it well.....we call it in Holland a "rups") changed into a butterfly !! :-) Super piece !!!
It's been a while since my last visit, and I just had to see what you've been up to. Love all of your pieces, but THIS one is so very special! Love that quote, Bev. It's one of my favorites!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
