Take a Word - The Sea

My mother "blessed" me with a fear of water, but I love to sit at seaside and listen to the lapping of the waves, or look out over the sea at night when the moon and starshine reflect on the water.  It gives me such a feeling of peace and serenity.  I've tried to capture that feeling here.   The words, of course, are from Don McLean's "Starry Starry Night".  Check this YouTube for Van Gogh paintings accompanied by the song.  Beautiful.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkvLq0TYiwI

    Thanks for this, I feel more peaceful already (after battling network problems all day). It reminds me of holiday evenings by the sea.

    This is so beautiful, Bev, and thankyou for the YouTube video. It calmed me down and caused a tear or two to drop. Such genius to have had to suffer such a tortured life with no real recognition of his paintings in his lifetime.

    This is lovely. I grew up on an island and this evokes memories and smells of my childhood. The stars are amazing.
