I have happy memories of childhood visits to apple barns, and my mother's apple butter and apple pies. This is a blending of several vintage scenes, with a John William Waterhouse image. Thanks for your visit!

Three Muses - Fish
"Swim, little fishy, swim if you can. And he swam, and he swam, right over the dam". Funny, isn't it, how those little ditties from childhood settle themselves into some obscure corner of our brain, and pop up from time to time! This delicately colored fellow swims the waters of Googledom. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Digital Whisper - Watercolor
Watercolor is the challenge at Digital Whisper. I found a line drawing of a hibiscus and painted, duplicated and played a bit. Background credit to Eena's Designs. Face from my stash, source long unremembered.

Three Muses - Male
Personally, I prefer Maks Chmerkovsky of Dancing with the Stars, but I guess this guy is OK! Now that I think of it, I've met a few clowns in my time, a few good-time boys, and a few strong men (thank heaven). Thanks for stopping by.

Three Muses - Circus
As a child in rural America, I remember there was always great excitement when the circus posters began appearing on the sides of barns announcing the arrival of the traveling circus. I'd like to recapture that excitement today. For my art, I've paired a couple of my favorites...Emmet Kelly and Barbra Streisand's "Send in the Clowns". Thanks for visiting!
