The word "Beauty" conjures up so many beautiful things in my world. I finally settled on an autumn scene, as it's my favorite time of year. Many years ago, I took an oil painting class. It opened my eyes to the world about me -- to cloud formations, subtle nuances of green in spring forests, the stark beauty of bare trees in winter, the wonderful shades of red, gold and russet in autumn, storm clouds gathering on the horizon, the bright colors of flowers, and many things I'd taken for granted before. Those classes were such a gift!
This is pure beauty, Bev!

ReplyDeleteWe should see more of poetry, Bev. I know you have quite a collection and your poems need to be shared. This one is superb because, as with your prose, we can identify with it so well. Gorgeous picture, great poem.
ReplyDeleteGreat combination of your own art in vision and poem, Bev.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that we are destroying our beautiful planet. Love your words and the way you learn to see the beauty in nature.
