This is a photo from a visit to this lovely old inn in Story, Indiana a couple of years ago with some long-time friends. It's said to be haunted, but the spirit didn't join us for our lunch! The walls inside are filled with items from yesterday, the tables and chairs are a collection of primitive furniture repurposed and dressed with vintage linens and candles. Icy cold sweet tea is served in Mason jars, the food is wonderful, and the ambiance is superb. The scarecrow is one of my sketches. Autumn in Indiana is a wondrous spectacle!
What charming place I love things like that thank you for sharing and your cute scarecrow too.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you time goes faster and faster the months seem like week anymore.
I bet the colors are glorious there! Our vineyards are what turn the glorious (Vermont-like) colors here in California. Love this bit of Autumn Bev!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see inside this old Inn, your description is wonderful! Love your scarecrow, looks like he has his eye on a pesky crow.
