Take a Word - Purple

I love purple!   It reminds me of the old grapevine that grew by my mother's clothes line, and the clusters of sweet purple grapes, bursting with flavor and warmed by the sun.....an afternoon feast for a barefoot child, some eventually finding their way into shining jars of grape jelly on the shelves in mother's fruit cellar.

  2. I immediately thought of grape jelly when I looked at your collage, then I read your comments! The smooth folds of the purple fabric reminded me of how wonderful it was to be the first one to open a fresh jar of grape jelly. Thanks for the memories♥

My Mom made jelly as well and had it in the fruit cellar. So I see what you mean in your picture. Mine was another version of my lady.
