Take a Word - Purple

I love purple!   It reminds me of the old grapevine that grew by my mother's clothes line, and the clusters of sweet purple grapes, bursting with flavor and warmed by the sun.....an afternoon feast for a barefoot child, some eventually finding their way into shining jars of grape jelly on the shelves in mother's fruit cellar.

I could not find the source for this photo, but its accompanying words by Chief Seattle are so profound, I felt compelled to use it.  He was such a wise old fellow.   His quotes carry such wisdom.  It is our shame his people were treated so unfairly. 

Three Muses - ALPHABET SOUP

This is actually a photo of my parents in their courting days.  My father's nickname for my mother was Maggie, so the words of the old song seemed appropriate.   When I saw the theme was "Love", the photo came to mind.  Thank you for visiting!
