I thought of taking a photo of the mass of tangled wires behind my computer desk, but I didn't think I should expose you, my cyber friends. to such chaos. This ended up as a sort of a social statement. I love Chief Seattle and his statement on environment. He was a wise old fellow. How he would have hated what we've done to his Mother Earth! Thanks for indulging me.
wow Beverly what a brilliant take on the wires challenge.and how true cheifs seattle's statement is.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in with the Arty Girlz challenge.

What a wonderful statement you have made! I love it. And I totally agree with you. I miss country living. There is never any quiet in the city, or complete darkness either.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant take on the theme - love it
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Bev!
ReplyDeleteLove your idea, and I agree with you about the saying, it is so true, we must all take time to listen occasionally.

Why oh why don't we learn lessons from history or listen to the words of wise men? This is powerful stuff, Bev. Thankfully, in my part of the world, the power lines are gradually being taken underground and the ugliness is disappearing.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a powerful statement Bev both the images and the words, and the quote just makes me stop and think. Your Chief definitely lived in a different time. Bravo.
ReplyDeleteI translated you'r text to understand it better Ms. Bev.
ReplyDeleteYOU are entirely right. We must be economical on our sphere. Certainly for the coming generations
When I got to do my post I saw your comment about this entry turning into a social statement and I was so curious because mine too got "out of hands". Looks like wires do have a power to make us react in unexpected ways. I have a deep respect for the Native American culture. We sure can learn a lot from them. Thanks for this wonderful statement
