Vron has given us a lovely image of a geisha to work with. I chose to use it with a favorite quote from Confucious .... and, oh dear, it just occurs to me geishas are Japanese and Confucious was Chinese. No matter, I'll consider it an international quote !!
I love that background, Bev! It's the perfect foil for the lovely image - and who cares about the origin of the quote - it's a great quote in any language.
ReplyDeleteBev, your Japanese lady is gorgeous. What a wonderful and appropriate background. And I didn't even notice that you used a Chinese philosopher with Japanese picture.
ReplyDeleteVery Serene - beautiful
ReplyDeleteyou are already ready with your challenge I see .
ReplyDeleteI think that you have bring more brightness to the original colour Bev ? Well done !
And what concern you're quote ?
I feel the same as Marie and Fay.
When ' t touches your feeling and heart it inspired each right-minded people .
I find it fantastic !
I would never have spotted the deliberate mistake Miss Bev, but then I think a bit of artistic license is always good it helps you think outside the box. This is a beautiful piece, great image, wonderful colours, and great quote but then I would expect nothing less from you. Scrumptious.
ReplyDeleteThe quote cuts across all cultural borders and was the perfect adornment for the lady. That background seemed almost holographic on my computer screen - really lovely!
ReplyDeleteBev, this is so lovely! Love the quote and background paper! Applause!
ReplyDeleteOh what elegance and gentleness you've captured in this piece. The quotation very much suits the artwork. International works for me!!
