Botanical, the theme for this Sunday Postcard challenge, is one that could go many ways. I finally arrived at a locket of pressed flowers on a newsprint background. I look forward to seeing all the entries for this challenge. Thanks for looking.
So beautiful, Bev. I love the idea of pressed flowers in a locket balanced by the fresh flowers outside. Where did the days go when people treasured their pressed flowers, held between tissue paper in a hefty tome? I can remember finding them in old books passed down through my family. Your beautiful postcard made me think of them.
I love your new blog banner- wonderful Bev! Your botanica postcard is beautiful and has a sentimental feel to it- excellent!
