Mixed Media Monday's theme this week is to do something in your least favorite color. Mine would have to be pink. It's never been a favorite of mine. I'm more of a primary color type person. Nonetheless, here's my vision in pink, courtesy of Art-E-Zine, with swirl from SBG's Manuela Zimmerman. I have to post it fast, because I have an overwhelming urge to change the color to something else!! Thanks for visiting.
Oh wow she is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFantastic and elegant. Love them.
The things I have learned about you through this art form and media are amazing. I had no idea that you disliked pink!!
ReplyDeleteCreeeeeeepy. The Tweedledee and Tweedledum syndrome is alive and welcome. IMAGINE that!! We may be 12,000 miles apart, Bev, but we are connected in mysterious ways. Your picture is so elegant, soft and gorgeous. How could a pink hater fail to love something as soothing and delectable as this?

ReplyDeleteEven tho you don't like the color, this is a beautiful card with a lovely image. You have played down the pink and because it is one of my more commonly used colors I am pleased that it is subtle...I love the wine to rose toned pinks vs. the mid tones. Great card! I found this to be a very difficult challenge. Hugs. Gayle
ReplyDeletei had to laugh reading your comment to your piece... i feel so similar - always drawn to vibrant colors. but it is very elegant and sure would please many recipients!

ReplyDeleteThis came out quite lovely Bev! You used a nice, non-offensive pink, unlike I did. She's beautiful.

ReplyDeleteI love this Bev, not least because of your colour palette which suits your subject and composition so well. Soft and beautiful and scrumptious Miss Bev.
