Hot tea with lemon and honey (and maybe a bit of whiskey) has been on my menu this past couple of weeks. I've been fighting off an evil bronchitis and sinusitis. Today, bright blue skies and greening grass lifted my spirits, and I know I'm on the mend. Thanks for stopping by to tea! The background here is by Playing with Brushes, and the ladies are from Flickr Collage Images (what would I do without it?) Thanks, Ann, for a great challenge.
I love that saying! I've never heard it before and your page is great! Hope you fell better!

ReplyDeleteI love the quote!! Your picture for me conjures up nostaligic thoughts of days gone by when people actually used tea pots and held little ceremonies. I love the softness and elegance of your artpiece, Bev. It's gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteDear Bev, I'm so sorry you've been going through this bronchitis and sinusitis...the pain of sinus can be terrible, and like all pain, quite isolating. I'm pleased you're getting some solace from your tea dear, and also pleased there's sometimes a drop of whisky in there...
ReplyDeleteI wish for you lots of singing, just like that kettle!
Ladies gossiping over a cup of tea came to mind when I saw your lovely vintage piece! Hope your health improves soon, too, Bev!
