Theme Thursday - Children

I saw this idea somewhere and it intrigued me, so I decided I'd try it for the Theme Thursday challenge of "children". The class photo is from Flickr Collage Images. The girl is sketched by me, scanned, and superimposed on the photo. Fun! Thanks, Theme Thursday, for the challenge.

  1. Bev, I am tempted to say "who said that you can't teach an old dog new tricks" but that would be impolite. I love the way you are branching out into new ways of doing things, especially your beautiful hand drawings. This one looks so appealing and wistful against the old class picture. Fantastic artwork. Kudos from me.

  6. It is a great idea, Bev, and turned out really nice. I also thought of doing a class pic but didn't know where to find my own class pic to use. Aren't these old pix so interesting. You can hear the photographer instructing the girls in the front row how to place their hands and feet.

  11. Bev, the inclusion of your beautiful hand drawing has somehow personalized or grounded this whole piece and I love it. I hope this is the first of many. Standing O from my corner.
