Blue is one of my favorite colors, so this was a joy to work with. Women were so delightfully feminine in those days, weren't they?.....delicate flowers to be pampered and protected. Whatever happened to those days ??? (Smile) Thanks for stopping by!
Very elegant
ReplyDeleteLove it Bev!! very stylish and gorgeous shades of blue in the flowers!!
ReplyDeleteElegant, Bev! Those lovely ladies may have been the epitome of femininity, however, I'm so happy that those wasp-shaped corsets have gone the way of the DoDo!!! Happy Weekend! Hugs, Terri xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteBev, your colour palette is exactly right for this beautifully feminine scene. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful so lovely!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhere has all the glamour gone? Imagine having to sew such a dress. The detail is mind boggling. Women were not afraid to be feminine in those days - and also maybe a little outrageous. Bev, your selection of blue and white flowers and leaves is perfect for this collage. The whole effect is stunning. I love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely creation! Very pretty
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I was thinking like Marie about the care of the dress, she in the making of it, and I in the cleaning of it. Or maybe they never were cleaned and the dresses just gradually grayer in color.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful! I agree with you about manners and etiquette! We are still all lovely flowers! But now, sometimes we have to be lovely flowers with teeth!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a beautiful weekend!
Betty
