They say, on nights the moon is full, you can see her in the yard of the old house, and hear her calling for her babies. I love the old house Rick has given us this week at Collage Obsession. I used a couple of filters, added a full moon and the mournful spirit is an original sketch. Thanks for looking.
I love the style contrast, delightful "young lady"!!
ReplyDeleteIn investigating Blogger's new Spam policy, I inadvertently deleted all the comments on this art, except for Peggy's, which came in afterward. Grrrr. Thank you Blogger.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you inadvertently deleted the comments, Bev. I'm sure there were plenty of compliments on this awesome piece! It's always a treat to see your little sketches added to your digi work. Awesome! Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteBev, you have really captured the essence of this old house, giving it life and texture and mystery. The addition of the moon and hand drawn ghostly figure add your own special stamp. AND THERE'S A STORY to it!! Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteOh and I left you such a lovely comment about the gorgeous lighting and texturing effects you have created, and saying how I love your hand sketched pepes ...... ah well I'll have to do it again!!!! :D

This is excellent, Bev...I think she is outside waiting for the roofers to arrive before the storm blows in. Can you imagine having to live in a home that needs so many repairs...yikes. Hugs, Gayle.
ReplyDeletea beautiful combination of techniques, and I like it

Bev, I love your ghost story and the quite friendly looking ghost - I hope she'll find what she's looking for. You have used wonderful textures in your collage.
ReplyDeleteLove your interpretation of this piece. It is a story.
