".....and thus the whirligig of time brings in his revenge." ~ William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night. Sometimes we feel there is never enough, and sometimes it weighs heavy on our hands. Life has a way of equalizing, and what in youth we take for granted, in old age we have time to savour. (Philosophy according to Bev!) Thanks for stopping by.
Not a "simple" creation, it 's also a reflexion, a philosophical thought about time..

Very, very nice, Bev. Dramatic and well-designed.
ReplyDeleteLove your philosophy AND this beautiful piece, Bev! Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove your philosophy Bev and what a beautiful expressive piece. The woman's expression does speak to thoughts of the past perhaps and of where has the time flown. She looks amazed-great entry!
ReplyDeleteI agree with your philosophy. Well designed.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think that is about the only thing we get in life that is the same for everyone, and we are not really able to alter it...except here at The Three Muses. This is a terrific presentation and that woman image is quite haunting....neat image.
ReplyDeleteA super fantasticly gorgeous picture and an excellent philosophy too...beautiful job Bev...love the toasty colors!!!
ReplyDeleteF A N T A S T I C piece, Bev!
ReplyDeleteLove your philosophy, too, beautiful art! Bev, I feel so guilty now for taking a very light hearted approach to my entry considering the devastation here. Just watching the continuous news on TV and they have just announced 75 dead and 300 missing. There are still some survivors trapped but buildings too unsafe to get into and threats of neighbouring structures collapsing onto them.
ReplyDeleteWonderful artwork and gifted words…

ReplyDeleteA lovely thoughtful and thought provoking collage Bev with just the right amount of philosophy on the passage of time! I'm particularly liking the monochromatic style and the impression of past, present and future you have worked into your art. Kudos to you my friend.
