This is really an unusual piece from you Bev it is very surreal and beautiful with unique details from the ancient crumbling window frame to the tiny twist edging it is wonderful!!!
Hey Bev, This is fantastic- a bit of the surreal and mind play at its best! A beautiful provocative piece that speaks to perhaps wishing to go beyond, feeling a bit trapped and wanting to explore what's out there. Love this! Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog... this has been a tough summer for me workwise and I'm trying to hang in there with one challenge a week and keep creating (to maintian my sanity). I always love the Three Muses!
Well, congratulations to your Muse! This is superb, Bev. I love the grungy, aged window and how you have built a story around it. I'm sure that each person who sees the picture will have her own ideas - a great starting point for a lot of different versions.
Well what happened you have a window either emerging form the earth or going into it, so maybe your imagination is emerging away from your usual style, but you have a closed window, so maybe it still has to develop. The tangled hoops could be saying the same thing, the flowers...opening up. Thought I would try my hand at analysis (no charge LOL), it is a great image.
Wow, Bev! The girls are using their little gray cells very hard with this one! And they are doing a great job, that's why I will only congrats you for your psychoanalytical piece!
Test, testing- trying to see if I can follow instructions and leave a link in the comments section... <a href="http://terihoover-crystal-iris-images.blogspot.com/2011/08/distractions-in-my-window.html>HERE</a>
