Mother Nature is at her most glorious in my world at the moment. The trees are gloriously red, gold and russet, and leaves are drifting gently down like rain. It is the most magical time of year in Indiana. This photo of my great grandsons was taken near my home....except, of course, for the sketched scarecrow! Our driveway is carpeted with leaves much as this path is.
Your great grandsons say it all with their joyous, carefree spirits. It is so important for children to bond with nature early on. Love this Bev!
ReplyDeleteYour walk in the woods looks like a lot of fun and so cute great job Bev.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous place you live in! The lovely photo is even lovelier by the special appearance of your scarecrow.
ReplyDeleteHi Bev,
ReplyDeleteA fun walk in the woods - so sweet.
Sadie
Beautiful nature picture is ful of childrens joy and your own spirit ♥
ReplyDeleteIts so beautiful isnt it ? I used an autumn photo too in my piece,Such beautiful colours and carpets of red gold and copper. Its magical. Lovely creation :)
ReplyDeleteAre these trees white oaks? Around my city there are green oaks, so their leaves don't fall, as the majority of trees around here (all sort of pines, cypress etc...).
ReplyDeleteThe only leaves we can play with are those of plane trees or poplars; and these are on the roads edges.
You are a lucky lady to have a real magnificent autumn around your house.
And it seems that your grandsons are lucky too! :)
Beautiful photo and mischievous scarecrow dear Bev!
A very beautiful photo of the forest and your great grandson, it look like he enjoy to run around in all the leaves on the ground, fun scarecrow.
ReplyDeletePiles of leaves and little boys...magical!
ReplyDeleteI would love to go for a stroll in that beautiful, leafy glad, Bev. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSince I am so far behind is coming over here and commenting on your artwork, I will just say that "glorious" is inadequate to describe what you do.

ReplyDeleteA boys dream to play in leaves or kick them. Very nice.
