I can sympathize with my zettilady, in that now I'm a prisoner in my orthopedic wedgies, and I only dream of the spike heels and sexy shoes! Credit to RubyBlossom for the background of this piece, and Flickr collage free images for some of the bits and pieces. Great challenge, Ann!
I am quite happy in my sensible, flat shoes and I have given up dreaming about the stiletto heels I wore in my young and silly days. Bev, your Zetti piece is delicious and the young lady's shoes ARE very sensible. I love the whimsy and quirkiness and great design all of which gave me a big smile to start the day.

ReplyDeleteLove your zettilady and their stilettos, she's "ravissante" even with their orthopedic red shoes
ReplyDeletebravo

This is adorable! I love her red shoes, even though they're not Christian Louboutins! I'm with you: I choose comfort over style!
ReplyDeleteWho cares as long as they're red? Great zetti picture!
ReplyDeleteI do understand her, confort is fine, I usually go for it, but only, only because now and then I can wear those spectacular red stilettos :). Lovely sad zetti gal.
ReplyDeleteI don't even wish anymore...it flats or skin for me babe...love your cute little zetti and that gorgeous ironwork...awesome!!
ReplyDeleteWow, red's a very popular colour for stilettos, today Bev, I agree with you, we can only dreamy like the girl in your fantastic collage! (Yes it really is my Mum in my piece, climbed quite a few of the 'mountains' in her hey day!)
ReplyDeleteyou are a master at creating with digital!
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant!!
I so wish you lived near by so you could help me and I think we might have fun shopping together!!!
Such a 'whistful' face for someone wearing very comfortable orthodics!!
ReplyDeleteI am drawn to this image, not sure why. I am sure she could have the shoes behind her as well, could that be her wish? Perhaps she thinks they are too fancy for her fashion style. Gorgeous artwork, Bev.
ReplyDeleteBev, I know what it feels like when one can only dream about beautiful high-heeled shoes... I love your zetti lady, and I wish she can enjoy life without sexy shoes.
ReplyDeleteIt seems I'm not the only one confined to 'sensible' shoes. But we can say 'Been there, done that and worn the red stilettos'!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work! xx
Such a Wonderful and Whimsical piece. Love this......
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun and clever piece!
ReplyDeleteWell, Bev, I think your Zetti lady looks very classy in her good quality and well fitting shoes. The ruby red spiky heels look gorgeous BUT looking is the nearest most of us get to them these days .... thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant, I think we all wish we could wear shoes like this - Damn you Mother Nature :o) x
ReplyDeleteWell, they might not be high but at least they are red! I have shoes that I wear for 'show'. They are fine for pottering (or is that tottering) around the office, but I couldn't hope to ever walk anywhere in them!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy with my flat shoes, because I've long legs and it looks very funny wearing high heels :D
ReplyDeleteYour digital work looks great.
Ms. Zetti......your red "kicks" are absolutely MAVVVVALOUS....and so is this piece!
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't look too sad in her sensible red shoes, Bev! I love her eyes!
ReplyDeleteYou never disappoint, Bev! Fabulous creation!
ReplyDeleteAdorable Zetti art, Bev. She looks gorgeous in red. I never have been able to wear spiked heels since I am short and also have 9" feet. Add the height of heels and I'm toppling over on my face!
ReplyDeleteExcellente votre zetty girl Bev !
ReplyDeleteje trouve votre collage vraiment très amusant !

What wit and charm you bring to your digi-art Bev! There's always a lot of character here and some "laugh-along-with" humour! Love your red shoes!!
ReplyDeleteDelightful collage, Bev! And I think she looks wonderful in her practical red shoes - comfort wins in my book, all the time (but the high heels are awfully cute =)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comment on my blog ~ I am always "wowed" by your artwork. It's always stunning, and always fresh and unique. Hugs, Peggi
