THREE MUSES - Artist

For my artist, I chose the contemporary artist, Eduard Recife .   Among his work are pieces with a quirky, grungy approach on vintage images.    I find it great fun to do a "Recifean" collage.   Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Yes, this is a pleasant surprise and a look back at the fun we had with Recife and his grunge art at DAQ or maybe it was for the Frameworthy at Scrapbookgraphics. This is a great piece, Bev. You were always the expert at this type of art - and it shows. Fantastic.

  2. Oh, how I love this one Bev !!
You know we share the art of Eduardo and it is so filled with detailed and unusual elements.
I've made my squirrel ( for the take a word challenge last week) also in this fine art style.

You've done him proud and I'm glad that you choose him !!

  19. Funny how these old photos make the subject look aged, but young at the same time - at least I think so anyway. This looks like an artist to explore further - I do love a bit of collage :)
    Thanks for introducing me.

  22. Shame on me, Bev! I didn't know this talented brazilian fellow. As I have already googled him and visited his site (http://www.misprintedtype.com/v4/)I can assure you have captured his style, but still Bev, of course.
