When I was a child, the traveling circuses used to place their posters on rural barns far in advance of their appearances in the area. I remember the excitement of seeing the posters, and the anticipation of their arrival. So, for the circus challenge this week, I knew I just HAD to do a barn! The barn, the posters, the crow, the clown and the wagonwheel were all "harvested" separately from cyber-surfing to create this scene. Thanks for visiting me here!
Wow, Bev, what a creative and original idea for a circus piece! Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's difficult to come up with an original take on the circus but you have managed to do it in style! Once again you have taken us into your childhood world and we can only imagine the excitement when an old, grey barn is covered with bright posters and the promise of good things to come.
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea and beautiful artwork. (Love how you have skewed the posters to fit the perspectives of the barn).
