A funny bit of a language barrier. I grew up on a farm in the Midwest, but I've never heard of a "chicken run". I had to look it up. Seems it's the same as what we call a chicken coop or hen house. It all brought to mind the phrase "a fox in the hen house", and I tried to depict that. Fence and chicken wire from Holliewood Designs, all else from cybersurfing. Thanks for stopping by!
I had to laugh at this Bev at my house it is foxes and ducks but ever since the fence went up around the pond the ducks are winning. Great collage!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, Bev! I love the chicken wire-perfect!
ReplyDeleteUh oh!! Foxy is waiting in the wings. I think it is called a chicken run because it is usually a narrow-ish but long wired in entry along which the chicken can run to get their exercise.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture. They are fine looking birds. Great work.
(Just read in the local paper recently that foxes are to be found in leafy suburbs close to the city centre here in the west. They are trapped and probably disposed of. As with rabbits they are an introduced species and real pests).
I got a good chuckle from this Bev! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI´ve just watched "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" yesterday, and your card is the perfect addition! Thanks for playing!
ReplyDeleteGreat fun postcard Bev; love the birds.
ReplyDeleteWonderful collage Bev.
