This is a lovely image by Jean Baptiste Greuze, superimposed on a free sepia background. I added the tears. A dear friend has lost her son suddenly this week, far too young, far too soon. Sorrow was on my mind. Thank you all for stopping by.
Wonderful, the facial expression is incredible, Greuze was a great artist, that art work is breathtaking! I'm so sad, when children must go before the parents, that is heartrending. A warm embrace to you big hugs Anja
Very apt - as a Mum of 4 and former Nurse - the loss of a child, whatever age, has to be one of the most sorrowful loses anyone can experience. xx
