Three Muses - Sorrow

This is a lovely image by Jean Baptiste Greuze, superimposed on a free sepia background.  I added the tears.   A dear friend has lost her son suddenly this week, far too young, far too soon.  Sorrow was on my mind.   Thank you all for stopping by.

  1. Very apt - as a Mum of 4 and former Nurse - the loss of a child, whatever age, has to be one of the most sorrowful loses anyone can experience. xx

I'm so sad, when children must go before the parents, that is heartrending.
