The ladies of Art Creations have given us an adorable teddy bear image to work with this week. Somehow it made me think of the time my children left for college, and left their toys behind. The poem is a Bev original, written some time ago. Don't you suppose, if teddy bears could write, they might write something exactly like it? Thanks for looking!
Bev, how poignant! I could have written that myself years ago. My daughter didn't like dolls, but had many pandas, each with names that rhymed with Freddie. She took about 4 or 5 to college. The rest are stillin a barrel in the attic, many years later. Your beautiful art piece certainly tells a story and is so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHope to get going on art in a little while. No entry yet.

Bev - this is so precious. Did you write that yourself? Made me hope that my discarded bear found a new friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories - Cynthia
