Mirror, Mirror on the wall. Who's the fairest of them all? .... The challenge image at Artarazzi this week was this lovely mysterious lady with flowing locks by Boris Vallejo. I imagine her as being quite vain, so I've cast her image in an old mirror. The mirror is googled, and I used a portion of one of Jen U's old bottles for an overlay to give the mirror effect (I hope!) Thanks for looking.
This is great!! you made a sophisticated lady of her! love the frame.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!!
Ooh she reminds me of the witch in Snow White - what with the mirror mirror quote! Beautiful and evil lol. Great interpretation.
ReplyDeleteI find you mirror effect wel done Bev !! In Holland we would say "het geeft nèt even wa meer "sjeu" aan het geheel"
ReplyDeleteIt means someting like this ; It gives exactly even what more impact to whole. ?? :-)

Gees, you foung a way to tame the wicked witch amd mellow her by using such a beautiful fram. Well done my dear...
ReplyDeleteFantastic work on this piece, Bev. It was obviously a labour of love but worth everything you put into it. Great result. I am uber-impressed that you cut up a bottle to give the glassy effect. Necessity is the mother of all invention and, boy oh boy, do you know how to be inventive! Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteVery creative idea! Have a Happy Easter, Bev! ~Lori
ReplyDeleteYes, I too am impressed by the way you've used part of a bottle to create the right effect, and the final effect is stunning Miss Bev.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, Bev!
