This is just what I needed to see today! My baby boy (30 y.o.) is living in Hawaii, and I am missing him so much on this holiday. This made me smile...so I thank you for that. Great piece...I truly love it!
Looks like we were somewhat in sync,Bev. I was recalling a trip I made to Hawaii as well. Love your bathing beauties, sure must have been hot on that beach (smile). Excellent art piece, as always. Happy Easter, Bev. Hugs, Gayle.
Mmmmm ... by his expression me thinks his mind is not completely on Hawaii and she is wondering if she's chosen the best bathing suit for the job! A stunning and very well executed collage Miss Bev. Kudos to you.
Ooh, Bev, how daring those outfits are! I can see arms and legs! Isn't it a wonder that the women didn't drown in all that fabric? And it was probably wool or cotton and HEAVY. I love how you've made the background to go with this. Beautiful job! As to the 3:30 a.m. post, it was one of those nights where I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. :-(
Beautiful work, Bev - love the layers and textures, and the fantastic ephemera. I just can't picture the men of today in those suits - I know I would be giggling everytime one of them would pass by. Darling collage, my friend =)
