"The moving finger writes, and having writ moves on. Nor all your piety, wit nor tears wash out a word of it." from the Rubaiyat by Omar Khayyam has always been a favorite quote. The quote above by Friedrich von Schiller seems to say much the same. Both came to mind when I saw Marie's challenge. The lady in my entry is my mother as a young woman, and again 50 years later as time marched inexorably on. Thanks, Marie, for the challenge and thank you, blog friends, for stopping by.
A lovely tribute to your mother Bev, and to time that does gain grace and wisdom as it moves on.
