Three Muses - Time

"The moving finger writes, and having writ moves on. Nor all your piety, wit nor tears wash out a word of it." from the Rubaiyat by Omar Khayyam has always been a favorite quote. The quote above by Friedrich von Schiller seems to say much the same. Both came to mind when I saw Marie's challenge. The lady in my entry is my mother as a young woman, and again 50 years later as time marched inexorably on. Thanks, Marie, for the challenge and thank you, blog friends, for stopping by.

  20. Wonderful piece, Bev! There sure is quite a long time-span covered in your collage, but the 50 years seem to have made your mother a very happy and wise woman.
